Single Sign-On

Single sign-on (SSO) is a session and user authentication service that permits a user to use one set of login credentials. This is an added feature for the Professional and Parent Portal to improve security measures.

All BusPlanner Web Single Sign-On (SSO) related Settings are configured in Settings > External Logins.

When these settings are enabled, parent accounts that are linked to an external login will not be able to log in to BusPlanner Web through the username/password login, and will not be able to reset their password from the login screen - they will only be able to log in through an external log in service. When these settings are disabled, accounts that are linked to external logins can log in through username/password login method, and will be able to reset their password from the login page.
